This style of nail art is rather more popular in Europe then in the American continents.  In Norther America, the average people tend to normally go with a square square or square round shape for their acrylic nails.  On the contrary in countries such as Sweden, Switzerland, England people seem to like the narrow shape like the photo above.  From this fact, we could guess that fashion is defined by location. While one style may be hot in one area, it may not be as hot in another area.
