Secrets to Keeping Nail Clients for Nail Techs
Mar 10th
As a nail tech, it is a great sign when you see clients coming back to your salon and filling up your appointment book. This is a sign of success because you do not have to go anywhere to look for clients anymore. We all remember and know how hard it is when we first started out and have to look for clients one by one. It is easy to have new clients come to you and get their nails done, but it is much more harder to keep the clients and have them continue to come back to your salon. We have gathered some cool tips for you to check out and improve your business.
1) Have a clean environment. Make sure your surroundings are clean. For example make sure there are no nail clippings and other trash on the floor,
2) Always impress your client with sterile tools. Clients pay attention to many things. For example the tip cutter you use, was it sterilzed before use on the client.
3) Don’t be cheap and reuse your tools. Make sure that you use a new nail file for every person. Or if a file was dropped on the floor, use a new nail file.
4) Give out your business card. After the first appointment, give the client an appointment card, as to when will be there next appointment
5) Become friend with your client. Ask the client when their birthday is. On that day give them a small gift, such as a nail file.
6) Always be happy and greet your client with a smile. And last of all, make sure that the clients are greeted with a smile.
How Polish Gel Help Nail Tech
Mar 8th
There are always something new that you can add to your nail service. The polish on gel coat is another invention that will help keep your nails looking new and shinning. The benefits of using polish on gel nails are listed below.
1. This is the perfect product for clients who want their manicure to last weeks. It’s a perfect up-sell to polish customers who are looking for longer-lasting color, but make sure you tell them the cost of your new service beforehand because there is a significant price difference.
2. In offering this new product, your prices must be reasonable for you. Factoring in the higher cost for brush-on gel polishes, the UV nail lamp, extra acetone, and the extra week between client visits, your new gel polish service should range from $37 to $45. Any gel polish service price below this will not benefit you (or the nail industry) in the long run.
3. Don’t display these bottles the way you would polish. Leaving these bottles out in the sun or near other UV light sources will reduce the shelf-life of your product since they are UV-reactive. (If you are wondering whether UV nail lamps are safe, check out the article on page 24 about a new study that says they are.)
4. Remember to practice. Although the formula is similar to gel and polish, it has a different consistency that, when applied incorrectly, will lift or chip. Make sure you follow the manufacturer’s instructions and practice on yourself, family, and friends until you’re fully comfortable with the product before offering it to clients.
Know the products and practice it well and begin the marketing process. Add window or sidewalk signs, update your website, and let every client who comes in know that you now offer brush-on gel polish services. Keeping up with the trends will help you bring in more customers and give you an upper hand on the competition. Don’t forget to update me on how the brush-on gel polishes work for you!
Jennifer Anniston’s Nail Art Style – Friends
Aug 5th
This super hot star from the Friends TV show has always been pretty subtle with her nails. She doesn’t do anything too extravagant, always mind her own business, and keep a low profile. In this photo, she wanted to go with a black theme; painting her nails with a black polish in order to blend with her black dress and dark shade hair. Certain celebrity has a certain style, this “the girl next door” style of Jenny will always make her looks hot with her fans.
